Who Should Attend?

The CFMA Southeastern Construction Regional Conference is designed for CFOs, controllers, and financial managers in the construction industry; construction CPAs; banking and financial service professionals; insurance professionals; surety underwriters; attorneys; and other construction industry specialists.

Sessions are designed as group-live programs at the basic level and unless otherwise indicated in the session description, there are no prerequisites or advanced preparation required.

Special Note: All non-CFMA members will receive a complimentary CFMA membership for the remainder of the 2024 CFMA year.

*To be eligible to receive the complimentary CFMA membership you must not have had a CFMA membership in the past three years. Cards will be distributed to nonmembers at the conference with a conference-specific URL to sign up for the free membership. The online form must be completed to apply for the membership and membership will be valid from the date of sign-up through March 31, 2025.


Our Response to COVID-19

In light of recent events, the Southeastern Construction Regional Conference Committee is excited to hold the 2024 conference.  We’re working hard to ensure the well-being of our fellow CFMA members. Below are a few notes in response to COVID-19 concerns:

  • The Westin Chattanooga staff are committed to enhanced levels of cleanliness in an effort to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our participants.

  • The Westin Chattanooga has evolving restrictions in place and we encourage our participants to check the hotel website often to learn of any precautionary measures that may be enforced.

  • We will follow all of the state and city guidelines to protect our participants.

Why Attend?

The Middle Tennessee, Alabama, Knoxville, and Georgia CFMA chapters have joined together to provide our 8th Annual CFMA Southeastern Construction Regional Conference.  Together, we are committed to delivering the best networking, education, and training experience of any kind in the field of construction accounting and finance.

We understand the challenges Construction Financial Managers face and we realize you do not have the time or resources to stay abreast of all aspects of what that job entails.  That is why we created this annual event.

This year's conference will include two information-packed days, including expert speakers who provide great insight about topics such as succession planning, banking and bonding, legal, technology, human resources and overall industry changes and updates.

You have no-doubt been very aware of how changing market demands are forcing change on how you do business.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy: If you must cancel your registration, you must do so prior to July 15, 2024. Any cancellation after July 15, 2024 will not receive a refund. Registration questions should be directed to southeasternconference@cfma.org with the subject line: Please cancel my registration for the 2024 Southeastern Construction Regional Conference. If the 2024 Southeastern Construction Regional Conference Committee cancels this Conference, your registration fee will be refunded.
